James Pappas
James C. Pappas has served as a director of Innovative Food Holdings since January 30, 2020 and serves as Chair of the Board. Since June 2009, James has served as the Managing Member of JCP Investment Management, LLC, an investment firm, and as the sole member of JCP Investment Holdings, LLC.
James previously served as a director of Tandy Leather Factory, Inc., a retailer and wholesale distributor of leather and related products. He also previously served on the boards of Jamba, Inc. from January 2015 until its sale in September 2018; U.S. Geothermal Inc. from September 2016 until its sale in April 2018; and The Pantry, Inc. from March 2014 until its sale in March 2015. James also served as Chair of the Board of Morgan’s Foods, Inc. from January 2013 until its acquisition in May 2014, after joining its board in February 2012.
From 2005 through 2007, James worked in the Investment Banking and Leveraged Finance Division of Goldman Sachs, where he advised private-equity firms and corporations regarding leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and refinancing alternatives. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he worked in Consumer and Retail Investment Banking at Banc of America Securities, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, financings, restructurings and buy-side transactions.
James received a BBA and a Master’s in Finance from Texas A&M University.
